Community Impact
Golden Valley is enhancing everyday life for local communities, delivering thousands of high-quality jobs, new homes, green public spaces, and community amenities, including a new modal hub that makes sustainable travel the natural choice.
Laying the foundations
Right now, we’re laying the groundwork through partnerships with some of Gloucestershire’s most impactful social and educationsl initiatives – working with organisations like No Child Left Behind, Code Ninjas, the West Cheltenham Partnership, Lives of Colour, Monkscroft Action Group, the Neurodiversity Network, Springbank Community Group, and the West Cheltenham Community Pantry.

Youth Advisory Board
Help shape the future of cyber, AI and secure conversations in Gloucestershire.
Golden Valley is one of the UK’s most ambitious cyber, AI and emerging technology developments – and young people should have a voice in shaping what comes next.
The Golden Valley Youth Advisory Board is being created to make sure people aged 16-24 can share their ideas, challenge thinking and help influence the future of this nationally significant development in Cheltenham.
Looking ahead
As construction begins, our commitment to changing and improving the lives of people in our communities continues with local initiatives that will help power the regional economy. The completion of IDEA in 2028 will mark a major milestone, enabling apprenticeships, reskilling programmes, and collaboration with Gloucestershire Construction College.
Our wider ecosystem, including the emergence of the ROUTER, INPUT, and OUTPUT buildings, will follow, each generating revenue and skills which will help to scale our social impact. By 2033, we estimate the Golden Valley fund will generate between £200,000 and £300,000 annually, with ongoing development continuing to create meaningful jobs and training opportunities for local people.
